Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick delivered an emotional speech following his team’s La Liga triumph, secured after a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in the 35th matchday of the Spanish top flight.
“I want to thank the team, the president, Yuste, and everyone, as well as all the fans who supported us. Most importantly, I am very proud to have such a great team. Thank you for everything. Thank you for the willingness to fight in every game. I truly appreciate it. I think we need to celebrate. Visca Barca! Visca Cataluña!” Flick told Football Espana.
With the win, Barcelona clinched the La Liga title ahead of schedule, sitting at the top of the table with 91 points, while Real Madrid remain in second place with 77 points. Three rounds are left in the season.
