Avaí has been ordered to pay approximately R$2.5 million in debts owed to striker Hygor and goalkeeper César Augusto. The labor lawsuits involving the two former players of the club cite unpaid wages, FGTS, vacation pay, housing allowances, and fines.
The rulings were handed down by the 1st and 7th Labor Courts of Florianópolis last Friday.

The court recognized that the club has been under judicial reorganization since 2023 but determined that the labor proceedings should continue, with normal calculation of credits, and acknowledged that the amounts claimed are of an “extraordinary” nature since they arose after the reorganization request.
Ge contacted the players’ defense attorney, Filipe Rino, who provided details about the sentences (see below). The report also sought a response from Avaí FC’s management, which has not yet made an official statement but claims to be aware of the situation and is analyzing the case.
