Flamengo’s Deliberative Council has officially approved the club’s three kits for the 2027 season during a meeting held this Monday in Rio de Janeiro. The third jersey pays tribute to singer Jorge Ben Jor, a passionate Rubro-Negro fan, and the Tropicália movement.
The council voted on the three designs during the session. The primary kit features thinner stripes with red sleeves, reminiscent of the uniform used by the club in 2018. The away kit will be white with gray, red, and black details, honoring the Salutaris Cup won by Flamengo in 1927—a tournament that determined Brazil’s “most sympathetic club.” Both the club crest and Adidas logo will adopt a retro style.

The third uniform is predominantly black with pink, blue, and yellow accents, directly inspired by Jorge Ben Jor and the cultural movement that emerged in Brazil in the 1960s. It received 72% approval from the council members. The primary and reserve kits each garnered around 90% approval. Using artificial intelligence, the Paparazzo Rubro-Negro channel created projections of the new uniforms for the upcoming season.
